I tried the street tacos and they were really good. You can forgo the fifth taco for beans and I would recommend it. The beans are great, the toppings are cold And fresh. My son tried the beef fajita burrito and loved it. The green sauce is spicy and delicious. They just opened a few days ago and I cannot wait to try everything on the menu! It's a plus that they have a drive-thru. The location is perfectly nestled between the Flying J and The Granary so if you're looking for something different on your way home from work it is your best bet.

OH MY GOD!!!!! This place was amazing!!! Food was amazing!!! Great seasoning and amazing flavor!!! I like the salsa bar so you can dress your own tacos. I'm so glad I stopped as I was passing through town. I love Mexican food but lately seems no one uses salt and pepper so I was skeptical about trying a new place. Food blew me away. I will definitely be back asI pass through town and recommend to my friends as well!!!

Awesome delicious burrito! It was absolutely loaded with wonderful ingredients! Next time I am bringing one home for later. Easy on and off the highway. The staff was friendly and helpful. The other people dining in were very nice. The dishes ordered by my co workers looked nice as well. The dining area is nicely decorated and clean. The bathrooms were also very clean. There are a couple tables in front for dining as well. Definately stopping again when traveling between Austin and Waco.

Just had their breakfast tacos and they were so good and full of flavor. I had 1 potato and egg & 1 chorizo and potato taco, they were so delicious and don't forget their salsas (sorry no pics, too busy eating ;) ). The staff was so friendly and made you feel welcomed. Highly recommend Taco Tex for all your breakfast taco needs, trust me you won't be disappointed.

I had a couple of beef fajita tacos and they were really good! I will be back for sure! Thank you got giving us another choice to eat at locally. Highly recommend.
